Clapham is an incredibly popular area to live in. The main transport interchange is at Clapham Cross. Clapham is on the Northern Line tube and linked to main ine rail services at the High Street. Bus Services are frequent. A main road artery, the A3, runs through Clapham. The country's busiest rail station, Clapham Junction is about 15 minutes away by bus.

The cinema known as Clapham Picturehouse, was originally converted from a former snooker hall. The three screen Picturehouse first opened its doors to the public in December 1992.
